Welcome to CineFrames

This a gallery of CineFrames, a collection of artworks created by London based artist and photographer Vass.

CineFrames celebrate, in a unique way, many of the greatest works of the last 20th and 21st centuries in the popular arts of film, television, music and video games.

A CineFrame is a digital artwork consisting of artwork made by processing a video and assembling the still frame images to create another artwork celebrating the source video.

Zoom in on a CineFrame to see that the image is made up of thousands of individual frames of images from the work of the film makers and artists that inspired the piece.

Vass began creating CineFrames in 2019 as physical and digital art pieces and has an extensive collection of one-off pieces and limited edition prints.

CineFrames may be enjoyed as large mounted and framed artworks for traditional display to be studied and explored. Or you may enjoy the art as digital art for display on a digital screen where the work may be interacted with and zoomed and moved around to find favourite scenes.

Prints are large and visually impressive limited editions available to view in our themed galleries and to view and purchase at our gallery in London. Each artwork is supplied with an NFT (Non Fungible Token) guaranteeing its authenticity, and its ownership and provenance will reside permanently on the blockchain.
